罗民教授擅长各种疑难病的微创治疗,尤其在治疗心脏病、脑血栓、尿毒症方面取得重大突破。目前采用微创技术治疗脑血栓患者4000余例，使病人免于瘫痪；微创技术治疗心脏病患者3000余例，使大批心脏病患者免于支架和起搏器，使大批濒临死亡的心衰患者临床治愈；微创技术治疗肾功能不全患者300余例，使患者少透析、免于肾脏移植。临床中采集了许多全球疑难疾病的成功案例及影像材料。先后完成多项科研课题，发表论文30余篇。

曾与美国、韩国、德国、日本、俄罗斯等脊柱外科、心脑血管科及疼痛学方面专家进行深入的学术交流。2011年成功地立项省科委课题《射频调控颈部神经治疗颈源性脑供血不足临床的新技术研究》,2016年成功立项吉林省发改委科研课题《射频调控交感神经治疗心肌缺血的临床新研究》即“胸部交感神经调控治疗脊柱源性心脏病的临床研究”。2016年春节亲赴美国哈佛大学麻省总院进行四场学术报告，独创新技术深受专家们的好评。2017年新著《现代冠心病基础与微创治疗学》，提出了创造性的“罗氏理论”即“心脏病神经激动学说”。2018年3月“罗氏理论”作为新时代新技术的权威代表发布于中共中央直属、国务院新闻办所属机构【中国报道】医学创新专栏，进一步论证了疾病的三维预警机制及病因归一化治疗的整体观念。2019年6月受邀参加“第23届ISHR世界心脏病大会”，宣布了科研成果——“交感神经在缺血性心脏病形成机制中的作用”，并系统的阐述了冠心病心肌缺血的成因以及心力衰竭的形成机制，受到国内外专家的高度赞誉！2019年12月2-3日受邀参加世界心脏病大会（西班牙巴塞罗那举行），并在大会上做专题报告——“交感神经在心衰形成机制中的作用及临床治疗模式”。2020年3月25-26日受邀参加世界心衰大会（日本东京举行），会上进行关于心衰研究的临床最新进展及优化治疗的大会专题报告。
